What age can my child start?
We teach children from 4 to 14 years old, and adults too! For the youngest learners, lessons are short and playful, and a parent nearby helps a lot.
My child doesn’t speak any English. Is that OK?
Absolutely! Many of our students start from zero. Teachers use pictures, props, gestures and songs, so children understand without needing translations.
Is the trial lesson really free?
Yes. The trial lesson is completely free, with no payment details and no obligation. It’s a chance to meet the teacher and for us to recommend the right level and format.
What happens in the trial lesson?
Your child meets their teacher, plays a few games and chats a little in English. Along the way we check their level. Afterwards we share feedback and suggest a programme and schedule.
Lessons
Do you offer group lessons?
Small group classes are coming soon! 3–6 children of a similar age and level will learn together. It’s social, fun and more affordable. Join the waitlist on our pricing page and we’ll let you know as soon as places open. For now we offer private one-to-one lessons, fully tailored to one learner.
How long are the lessons?
Lessons are 25 or 40 minutes, for both kids and adults. Younger children usually start with 25 minutes, the sweet spot for little attention spans.
Where do lessons take place?
Online on Zoom, from home. We send you a link before each lesson. All you need is a computer or tablet with a camera, a stable internet connection and ideally a headset.
Will my child always have the same teacher?
Yes, that’s our promise. Your child keeps the same teacher, who gets to know how they learn and plans every lesson around them.
Do I need to sit with my child?
For children under 6, it helps if you stay nearby. From about 6, most children are happy on their own, and you’re always welcome to listen in.
Do you teach adults?
Yes! We offer private lessons for adults and professionals: conversation, business English, presentations and interview practice.
Scheduling & payment
Which time zones do you teach in?
We teach families in Israel, Europe and Asia, with lesson times that fit school and family routines in your time zone. Just tell us what suits you.
Can we reschedule a lesson?
Of course. Let us know at least 24 hours in advance and we’ll find a new time. Lessons cancelled with shorter notice can’t always be made up.
How do we pay?
You can pay month to month, at the start of each month, and stop any time. Or save with a 3-month, 6-month or 1-year package, paid up front. After the trial lesson we send you the details and a secure payment link.
Do you offer sibling discounts?
Yes, siblings get 10% off.
What if lessons aren’t right for us?
Our happiness promise: if the first month isn’t right for you, we refund every lesson you haven’t used.
Progress
How will I know my child is making progress?
We check in with you each time your child reaches a new level on the Llama Trail, and you can ask for feedback whenever you like. Just send us a WhatsApp message and your teacher will get back to you.
Do you prepare for Cambridge exams?
Yes. We prepare learners for Cambridge English Young Learners (Starters, Movers, Flyers), A2 Key and B1 Preliminary.
